The chandelier is the first project of the 2008 haunting season, and will also be displayed in our creations lab year round. The chandelier was created using Merlin's chandelier images and step by step.

We start creating our hands by tracing our own hand onto a piece of cardboard | |

Next, we cut wire to insert into the cardboard and extend the fingers 2 - 3 inches | |

The fingers are extended | |

The cardboard and wire hands are then duct taped to pvc in this case, 1/2" pvc | |

Notice that the wire fingers have been slightly bulked up using the duct tape | |

Also notice the end of the pvc sticking out through the hand, this will allow our wiring to be connected later

The hands are then covered in layers of paper towel and white glue | |
 |
The arms are bulked up so that the shackles fit on the arms more snugly | |
